About me
With the number of decades lived now exceeding that which can be counted on one hand, I find that life continues to grow ever more engaging. In September of 2016 I followed my life-long instinct of “belonging” in New England rather than in the central U.S., and made the leap of relocating from Kentucky to Maine.
I enjoy writing and have rediscovered my passion for painting and illustrating. I am the author/illustrator of seven independently published books, have a few more children’s books in the wings as yet unpublished, with ideas for many more. I love participating in other authors' dreams coming to life by creating illustrations for their picture books and book covers.
I spend days exploring the natural beauty of Maine, and I welcome the serendipity of meeting new friends. I take delight in my grandchildren and visit them as frequently as I can. I am available as a freelance illustrator.
